Usha is a registered dental hygienist (RDH), graduating from St Petersburg College in 2016. She was born and raised in Venezuela, moving to the States over 10 years ago to follow her dreams of getting an education and learning the language. She became a dental hygienist because she is a strong believer that prevention is the key to a healthy body. She enjoys helping people improve their oral health as well as educating them in the best home care techniques. She also likes helping patients overcome their dental fear so they can have a positive experience in the chair. In her free time, she runs, bikes and travels with her boyfriend and two dogs.
Martine is our part-time registered dental hygienist (RDH), having been a hygienist for over ten years. She grew up in upstate New York, but also calls Switzerland home. She is a mother of three and step-mother to various cats, dogs, fish and houseplants. After a stint in Europe, she and her family settled in Florida where Martine decided to learn about teeth. Martine says she is impressed by Dr Downie's honesty and integrity, and grateful to be part of her team.
